Hello Lovelies and welcome back to another sex toy review!
Today, we are going to be taking a look at this colourful silicone butt plug set, from Lovehoney!
Who Are Lovehoney?
Founded in the early 2000s by Neal Slateford and Richard Longhurst in Bath, UK, Lovehoney started as a small online retailer with a quietly radical idea: sex didn’t need to be secretive, shame-laden, or wrapped in euphemism. Fast-forward a couple of decades and they’re no longer just a retailer, they’re a global powerhouse in sexual wellness — “the sexual wellness people.”
Lovehoney’s success isn’t built on shock value or sleaze: it’s built on clarity, trust, and treating adults like adults. Lovehoney’s sex guides are a cornerstone of that approach: practical, accessible, and refreshingly free of judgement.
And then there’s the Lovehoney community. Not a forum — the forum. The Lovehoney Forum is a living, breathing community where people share experiences, ask questions, compare notes, and learn from one another in a space that feels safe, informed, and genuinely welcoming. It’s also home to initiatives like their Sex Toy Tester Programme, a brilliant example of how Lovehoney centres real voices, real bodies, and real feedback.
So in short, Lovehoney didn’t become a powerhouse by shouting about sex. They did it by normalising it, and inviting everyone else to join the conversation.
Lovehoney Booty Nights Butt Plug Set (3 Piece): Product Description
Made from soft silicone, the Lovehoney Booty Nights three-piece butt plug set consists of three butt plugs in increasing diameters to help you explore anal play and begin your journey into anal training.
How It Looks
The Lovehoney Booty Nights butt plug set arrives in a white box printed with lots of colourful text and graphics. There’s a colourful photograph of the plugs on the front of the box with a cheeky line that says “go beyond the call of booty”, which made Master Levi laugh out loud. Text on the back of the box tells you about Lovehoney as a brand, and text on the sides tells you about the product and talks you through exploring your rear passage — nice!
The butt plugs arrive in a clear bag of three colours, purple (S), pink (M) and blue (L). The colours are quite vibrant yet still have a certain softness to them. There is also a non-electric toy safety guide and a user manual tucked inside the box.

How It Handles
The one thing I did not account for was how having a thinner base was going to give me less to hold onto, which meant I completely had to rethink my insertion process this time. The T-bar is great but soft and flexible, so you can’t really hold it and push it in. You have to actually get your finger almost under the centre of the plug and push it in that way, which is a bit novel when you’re used to a rounder, firmer base.
That said, the more graduated diameter makes insertion much smoother and easier, and with a good blob of lube, it was very easy to get started. The plug slides in and “locks” into place easily, and the T-bar seems to perfectly fit the curvature of your bottom. Oh!
How It Feels
I’ll be honest, I wanted to buy this set because of the curved T-bar. I have a few butt plugs with round, flared bases already, but I find the round base digs into my butt cheeks after a while and makes the whole experience uncomfortable. Seeing the flexible T-bar design had me curious: as I explore anal play more, could that style of plug base be more comfortable for me?
The other part was the shape of the actually plug itself: a lot of butt plugs have a shorter, teardrop shape, which can dilate your derriere quite abruptly if you’re not yet used to anal play. This “slimline” design gives you a more graduated stretch, creating a more sensual, pleasurable experience.
In realistic terms I probably could have accommodated the medium plug, but I’ve had a few IBS-related issues lately and I didn’t want to push my body too far. So, I kept to just the small plug instead.
Insertion was smooth and easy: with a good blob of water-based lube, the plug slides in and “locks” into place (but with the T-bar on the outside). I found it much more comfortable with the curved part of the bar at the bottom of my bottom, but you can try it either way up and find what works for you.
One thing: the small plug made me indescribably horny, and I was able to have two back-to-back orgasms as a result. I also felt like I could sleep with the plug in, if only my libido would let me!
Lovehoney Booty Nights Butt Plug Set (3 Piece): The Verdict
I can’t vouch for all of the plugs, obviously, but I was absolutely right in my hypothesis: if there is one plug style I recommend for budding butt explorers, this is it! They’re soft, flexible and easy to insert, and they did wonderful things for my sex drive too. It’s a full five stars from us!
