Love for you. Love for the planet.
Hello Lovelies and welcome back to another sex toy review!
Today, we are going to be taking a look at this sweet “Damiana” clitoris tapping vibrator, from The Natural Love Company!
I have to be honest, I’m in love with TNLC, even before I’ve tried their products. They’re based in Cornwall, and my heart belongs in Cornwall — of course I’m going to be biased! Plus, as a former environmental science student myself, I am all about their “Second Coming Scheme” — their sex toy recycling scheme. I think it’s such a brilliant idea and I can’t wait to use it… and yes, I will report back on my experience!
I also have to admit that I’m a little nervous about this product: it’s the first time I’ve tried a clit tapper and I have no idea whether I’m about to tap my way to paradise or torture my most sensitive of places. We do this for science, though. For Kinky Fuckery Science.
Alright, onto the review!
Who Are The Natural Love Company?
At first glance, The Natural Love Company might seem like just another adult-wellness brand, but they’re quietly rewriting that script. Founded in Cornwall, UK in 2020 by friends Ben Foster and Barney Walters, this small but growing company has carved out a niche by blending intimacy with environmental conscience. The Natural Love Company really makes it possible (and even enjoyable) for you to “f**k yourself. Not the planet.”
TNLC’s ethos is refreshingly simple: pleasure shouldn’t cost the earth. Products are often made with recycled ocean plastic and premium silicone, and are vegan and cruelty-free. TNLC’s products are then delivered to their customers in plastic-free packaging with carbon offset shipping, and a tree is planted for every product sold. Sustainability isn’t a buzzword here, it’s the goal.
One standout initiative that has become something of a hallmark is their tongue-in-cheek yet genuinely eco-minded “Second Coming” scheme: a playfully named sex-toy recycling program that invites customers to send in old or worn-out toys — whether bought from TNLC or not — for responsible waste processing. Rather than letting those preloved gadgets languish in landfill, the company breaks them down into component parts so they can be recycled or reused wherever possible.
In short, The Natural Love Company isn’t just selling toys — they’re selling a vibe: responsible, joy-centered, and a little cheeky. Pleasure with purpose, basically.
Damiana Clitoral Tapping Vibrator: Product Description
Named after the Damiana plant and covered in soft beige silicone, Damiana promises to gently tap you to paradise for those clitoris owners looking for something a little more gentle.

How It Looks
Damiana arrived to me in a printed cardboard box that — on the outside — was 100% discreet, all about sustainably minded delivery — I tried to trip these guys up with a logo or a link, but it’s just not there. On the inside of the box, that’s where all of the good stuff (besides the Damiana vibrator, obviously) is: logos, partnerships, socials (though, interestingly, only Instagram), even a QR code to the instructions and user guide. I really like this approach: paper-free guides instead of the paper-based instructions that people usually simply throw away. Nice!
(Disclaimer: my mobile browser wouldn’t open the care page, I had to copy the link into Google Chrome, scroll and click on the product [Damiana] to get to the usage and care instructions instead. So it works, but it could be simpler. Would a tiny, recyclable card with a product-specific QR code be too much to ask?)
Inside the box is tissue paper — which I wasn’t sure how to recycle (apparently tissue paper without glitter is compostable, we have learned) — and the Damiana vibrator inside a cotton bag. The vibrator itself is sealed again within a bag made from compostable materials. TNLC have really gone all-out on their planet-friendly packaging!
Onto the Damiana vibrator itself, the colour is a little… concerning. On the website it looks more like a creamy, custard yellow, yet in the flesh, it’s more… Well… flesh-toned. The adult in me wants to be adult about this, yet the big kid in me can’t help but think Damiana looks a lot like an uncircumcised flaccid penis. Fitting for what it is, maybe, but not entirely attractive.
When powered on, the LED under the power button glows white. It doesn’t appear to beat with patterns, though.
How It Handles
Let’s talk about the operability of the Damiana vibrator, because this (and the ecologicalness of TNLC) are where it redeems itself. Damiana is so easy to hold: the wider base to a slimmer tip fits into your hand to deliver precision pleasure perfectly. The power button is somehow perfectly positioned under your thumb too, so there’s no fumbling and trying to change the pattern. For operability, even for someone like me with some dexterity issues, Damiana is wonderful — a slight squeeze/press on the power button, and off we go. There’s no travel lock to get in the way and so you won’t be locked out of your pleasure. Damiana is also whisper quiet, so the only noises might be coming from you.
Aiming the Damiana vibrator to where I want it to be is just so seamless and easy, and a part of me wishes more vibrators were like this. There’s no fumbling around to get a sucker in place here, it’s just pure, precise pleasure.
Damiana has an IPX6 rating, so it can handle splashes but it is not submersible — fine in the shower maybe, but don’t invite Damiana into the bath!
How It Feels
Right out of the packet, the Damiana vibrator is a little intimidating — the tapping tip feels quite intense, and I really do wonder if those taps are going to be too intense for me. The silicone is silky smooth though, which I’d expect from a quality brand.
Unfortunately, when we got down to business, those taps just… disappeared. They were great for a little teasing (though less so on the nipples, they were too intense there) but when applied to my clit, the power felt noticeably reduced under pressure. The tapping sensation is still there, and it is quite wonderful, it’s just not strong enough to get me off. I did orgasm (eventually), but I think at least 80% of that was the sordid fantasy I had circling around in my head, rather than Damiana alone.
Damiana Clitoral Tapping Vibrator: The Verdict
The more products I review, the pickier I seem to have to be, and I do feel like Damiana is getting a bit of a tough deal here. It’s good, but it struggled to get me off, the QR code didn’t work great and the colour isn’t what it could be. That all being said, the ergonomic design and eco-consciousness of the company are standout features. In all, we’re giving this one 3.5/5 stars.
