Hello Lovelies and welcome back to our Lovehoney X Cosmopolitan “O Box” review!
I am so excited to have been sent this box by my affiliate manager. It all happened around the same time I was sorting my promo codes: I told my affiliate manager that I used to be part of Lovehoney’s Sex Toy Tester programme, and said that I knew there was a way for affiliates to get products for review, and asked how I might go about that. My affiliate manager told me to email him in future if I wanted to review anything, and asked if there was anything I wanted to try.
I’d seen this box mentioned on the Lovehoney Forum, so naturally I wanted to get my mitts on it and review it.
And now, let’s open her up!
Who Are Lovehoney?
Lovehoney is one of the UK’s best-known sexual wellness retailers, offering everything from sex toys and lingerie to lubricants, massage products and bedroom accessories.
Founded in Bath in 2002, Lovehoney started life as a small online retailer and has since grown into an international sexual wellness brand. Alongside products from established names, Lovehoney has developed its own ranges and collaborated with brands and personalities including Womanizer, We-Vibe and Cosmopolitan.
A big part of Lovehoney’s approach is making sexual pleasure feel approachable rather than intimidating. Its website combines shopping with practical advice, product guides and educational content designed to help people find products that suit their bodies, relationships, experience levels and budgets.
Whether you’re buying your very first toy or you already have a bedside drawer that requires structural reinforcement, Lovehoney offers an enormous range to explore.

Who Are Cosmopolitan?
Cosmopolitan is one of the world’s best-known women’s lifestyle brands, with a history stretching back to 1886. Today, Cosmo covers everything from relationships, sex and wellbeing to beauty, fashion, careers and popular culture.
Known for its bold, open approach to conversations about sex and relationships, Cosmopolitan has long championed the idea that pleasure shouldn’t be embarrassing or hidden away. Its content combines entertainment with practical advice, helping readers explore their sexuality, understand their bodies and talk more confidently about what they want.
That philosophy has also extended beyond the pages of the magazine. Cosmopolitan has collaborated with Lovehoney to create a range of sexual wellness products designed to make exploring pleasure feel fun, accessible and decidedly less intimidating.
In other words, this isn’t a particularly surprising partnership: Cosmo has been talking about sex for decades. Now you can keep some of its advice in your bedside drawer.

Lovehoney X Cosmopolitan O Box: Product Description
Introducing The O Box, a first of its kind collaboration between Lovehoney and Cosmopolitan! This exciting box contains eight wonderfully sexy items to explore, whether alone or with a partner. Enjoy the bestselling Lovehoney rose clitoral suction stimulator, spice up date night with the We-Vibe Sync Lite app-controlled couple’s vibrator, or explore your senses with Lovehoney’s bondage duo silky restraints and blindfold. And that’s only some of what’s on offer!
How It Looks
About the size of a biscuit selection box, the O Box arrives with a gradient red front and white ‘The O Box’ on the front, leaving no guesses as to what it is. Above and below are our (brand) partners in crime — Cosmopolitan and Lovehoney.
On the back is a small paragraph inviting us to indulge in pleasure with these wonderfully satisfying (and “beginner-friendly) products and red and white illustrations of what’s inside. A red starburst tells us that the box contains the “bestselling” rose toy, but is it the best? I have reviewed a rose before, but is this any one better? Only time will tell!
Inside the box lid it reads “Get closer” with the brand names again. I like the idea, but I’m not sure if that’s the right message for the O Box? This box is about pleasure, rather than intimacy. Also, it’s designed for single and partnered women so… closer to who?
The items are presented on shredded red tissue paper, which I think is a nice touch — it gives the box a whole sex toy hamper feel, which is quite lovely!
Because there are so many things in this box, I’m not going to stick to my usual format. Instead I’m going to list out what’s inside and give you my honest verdict. I’ll also provide links to the items where appropriate as some of these items can be purchased separately, if you want to.
Lovehoney Enjoy water-based lubricant: at a very generous 100ml bottle, I think you get a great deal here. This stuff is affordable, lasts a good while, is glycerin-free and toy and condom-safe. An absolutely great addition in our eyes. 5/5.
Lovehoney Glow Up rechargeable bullet vibrator: that red is gorgeous. It’s metallic and sexy, like a sexy Christmas bauble, if such a thing ever existed — I absolutely would want one on my Christmas tree, but I’m getting distracted here. With three speeds and 7 patterns, it has something for everyone. The vibrations are powerful and quiet too, which is absolutely great if you’re someone who finds other bullet vibrators too whiny. It’s splashproof too, so you can take it in the shower with you. 5/5.
Lovehoney Vanilla Massage oil: I really wanted to be sold on this stuff this time, but I sadly wasn’t. It has a very light, sweet smell, and — at least to me — it doesn’t really smell like vanilla at all. There’s a very light, sweet scent, but I think even buttercream has more of a vanilla scent than this stuff. It’s not bad, it’s just not my favourite massage oil ever. ⅖.
Lovehoney Rose Clitoral Stimulator: behold! The so-say best seller, but did it meet the mark? Yes and no. It certainly delivers and was wholly responsible for a very intense orgasm, but it is noisier than some of my other toys and I did find that the constant tapping sound distracted me from my goal. It’s more ergonomic than the ROMP x Amorana football but not as ergonomic as the Womanizer next. Affordable, effective, but sadly a bit louder than I would have liked. ⅘.
We-Vibe Sync Lite: yet again another tragic disappointment from We-Vibe. I had high hopes that this one would deliver the clitoral stimulation that is promised on the product web page, but sadly, it just doesn’t. The arm that rests against your clitoris has ridges, so it should provide stimulation, but it’s not motorised, so the single motor in the insertable part is doing all of the hard work. Connectivity was a pain too, and the Sync Lite kept dropping out whenever I tried to adjust the intensity/pattern. ⅖.
Lovehoney X Cosmpoilitan Position of The Week cards: we actually feel some of these are more conceivable than some of the ones mentioned in the Position of the Week book. Some of them invite anal play or pegging, however, which is only if (and/or your partner) are into that. Neither of my partners want to be pegged, so pegging them against their will would be no bueno. We did like that some of them include ideas for solo masturbation, but we weren’t sure how that would do down (that’s in there too!) during couple time. ⅘.
Lovehoney Bondage Duo set: everytime I see scarves like these, I get nervous for the people who would secure them with reef knots or double knots and think nothing more of it, thereby turning sexytime into a game of Risk with their partner’s circulation. The instructions say to pass one end of the scarf through the label on the back (as demonstrated in the video below) but that’s a bit fiddly to do. The blindfold blocks vision too, but it doesn’t completely block light, so if you like complete sensory deprivation, this isn’t the blindfold for you. A fun starter set, but for die-hard bondage enthusiasts, I would go with something like this black blindfold, that really does block everything out. ⅗.
Lovehoney X Cosmopolitan O Box: The Verdict
On the whole, I really like the premise of this box. It’s sexy and fun, which is exactly what something like this should be. The Position of the Week cards are probably my favourite because they’re fun, versatile and the graphics are cute, but I can certainly see why the rose is a best-seller! I think I stand by my original point that it could use utt butt plug and perhaps a couple’s cock ring of some sort, but on the whole, I think it’s a great box and the packaging is lovely and luxurious, too. Let down by the We-Vibe Sync Lite and the massage oil, but otherwise a real treat. ⅘ stars.
