Hello Lovelies and welcome to our next sex position review!

So without further ado, let’s check out the next position – Head Over Heels!

Why This Position:

This position enhances blood flow to the brain for the receiving partner, which increases arousal and hence a better change of an orgasm.

Assume The Position:

The penetrating partner begins by sitting in a chair and the receiving partner straggling them, then placing their calves onto the penetrating partner’s shoulders and leaning back until their head is near the penetrating partner’s ankles.

His Perspective

Compared to some of the others we’ve tried so far, this position isn’t that bad. It’s believable and not weird, and the science of it kind of backs it up. Not that sex should be nerdy or anything, but science is sexy sometimes!

Her Perspective

There are things I like and things I dislike about this position. On the one hand, there’s not a whole lot for the receiving partner to do in this position — you can, quite literally, lie back and take it. It’s a different angle too, and at least for me, it felt deeper with plenty of g-spot stimulation — that’s always a winner!

The bit I didn’t like, however, was the nausea, or feeling my whole body was suddenly subjected to the forces of gravity — I felt like Master Levi was trying to send my stomach up to meet my nose! I have cerebellar ataxia too, so about a minute in I started feeling very sick, which put me off of trying to reach my orgasm or help Master Levi reach his — definitely not the sexy experience that we were hoping for!

Then there’s the lack of intimacy, because you can’t kiss and touch when your face and hands are at opposite ends of this thing you’re doing. If you’re like us and you like intimacy in your sex, I’d probably give this one a miss.

Overall Verdict

Fun, but not so much fun if you’re prone to vertigo. ⅗ stars.

Special Considerations

As mentioned above, this is not a position we’d recommend to people who are prone to vertigo or blackouts. The blood rush to the head might be fun for some people, but if it’s going to cause issues for you, it’s definitely best avoided!

Until next time.

Stay safe & have fun,

I had to giggle at my neighbour leaning against my shed yesterday whilst he was talking to me. I swear he intentionally brushed his arm with mine at one point. I didn't move away. No, I didn't move, because I knew that once I gave him my Lovehoney promo code, he could be quite literally invested in me 😈
