I’ve wanted to do a Lovehoney advent calendar for a while now but because of cost, it was something I often put off doing. Well, now I have the perfect excuse — my audience will enjoy a kinky countdown to Christmas, too!
From 12th-24th December, I’ll be bringing you a post and a short Youtube video every day as we open this calendar together, followed by a review of our experience (hopefully!) on the 27th!
We deliberated over all of the calendar options but ultimately settled on the 12-day “Romance” one. It’s designed to help bring romance to a relationship, but will there be romance in store for us?

How It Looks
I really like the shiny metallic gold colour of this bullet vibrator, and the black logo, power button and charging port adds a nice stylish touch. The charging port is a little hard to see, but I managed to find it through trial and error!
When you power on the vibrator, the power button glows white. I hoped too that the power button would pulse with any patterns that the bullet might have — it does!
How It Handles
Working out this bullet vibrator is surprisingly easy: one-second press for power, then quick presses to find the speed or pattern that you like. It’s a little fiddly given it’s small size, but it’s still fairly responsive. Unfortunately, it’s also not particularly quiet!
The Lovehoney Gold Rechargeable Bullet Vibrator comes with a USB charging cable, though the charging port was a little harder to find and took some firmer handling. Turns out, this cheeky little bullet vibrator is fully submersible, so that explains why!
I do love that Lovehoney thought to include a rechargeable bullet vibrator in this advent calendar, rather than a battery powered one. No more fumbling, trying to find some cell batteries before your night of passion!
How It Feels
My experiences with bullet vibrators to date are not good, and to be completely honest, I expected this one to be more of the same — weak, whiny vibrations that would make my fingertips numb more than it would do anything to make me cum. Boy was I mistaken — this little beast packs a punch!
This gold bullet vibrator boasts deeper, stronger vibrations, having me whispering my quiet gratitudes to the wonderful people at Lovehoney for finally developing a bullet vibrator that works for me. I’m apparently not thorough enough with my toy reviews (thankyou, Sir 😉 ), so I took the time with this bullet vibrator to test it on my nipples, then onto more… sensitiive places.
Whatever part of yourself (or you’re partner) you’re looking to stimulate, this bullet vibrator is wonderful. I found that it was sending me heady with desire during some nipple play on the first setting, and the third speed bought me to an orgasm that made me forget everything, most of all my inhibitions. I love it!
The Verdict
Yes, yes, yes and more yes! The Lovehoney Gold Vibrator is compact and it’s exactly what I wanted to find in my advent calendar! It’s a very Merry Christmas indeed, 5/5.
