Both our kinky song choices are by the same British rock band — the delightful and wonderful Depeche Mode! Depeche Mode have been part of our history ever since, in our formative days, I thought I was edgy and funny by setting Depeche Mode’s “Master & Servant” as my ring tone, and answering the phone before the song could out me. That was a time when kink definitely wasn’t as popular or accepted as it is now, but hey, if you haven’t lived with a little danger then you haven’t really lived!

Alright, let’e get into it!

Master Levi’s Choice: Depeche Mode — Corrupt

I didn’t even have to ask Master about this one, I just knew. Corrupt does something to him; brings out a certain Domly-darkness that is both delicious and scary. He used to be all about Master & Servant, then he heard this, and, well…

My Choice: Depeche Mode — In Your Room

There’s something about this song that drops me into subspace Every.Single. Time. The rubbly, pulsing backing track, the eerie backing vocals, Dave’s drawn out voice. It’s like I’m right in the moment with Dave He vocals resonate within me, which makes me not only hear this song, but feel it too.

I also thnk that, with lyrics like “only you exist here”, it also demonstrates the hyperfocus we submissives place on our Dominant’s will. Nothing else matters in that moment. The only thing that matters is what our Dominant wants.
