How It Looks
The Lovehoney Oh! Satin Blindfold arrives to you folded inside a simple printed box. It doesn’t feel as luxurious as some other products and yet, when it comes to budget-friendly BDSM, you can’t really complain. The blindfold is made with black satin on one side and black faux fur on the other with a lightly padded core, and stays in place with the help of two thin elastic straps. How It Handles
One of the things I really love about the Lovehoney Oh! Satin Blindfold is that I can pop my ponytail between the straps, helping it to stay in place better. With my Black Rose blindfold mentioned above, one of the problems I frequently have is that if I put it above my pony then it rides up my scalp and pops off, but it I put it below, it slides down and sits aroubd my neck. Having the two straps means that I can pop my pony between them, ensuring that this blindfold sfays in place all night long!
How It Feels
Unfortunately the Lovehoney Oh! Satin Blindfold doesn’t feel as luxurious and smooth as some more expensive blindfolds on the market, but it by no means feels bad. If you pay for luxury, you can expect luxury. If you buy something that will allow you to dip a toe into the world of BDSM, and without busting open your piggy bank, that’s exactly what you’re gonna get.
With that being said, the Lovehoney Oh! Satin Blindfold does fit to your face well and you do get a comfortable, totally lights-out experience! Whether you make this blindfold a regular feature, buy one to take on vacation or even double it up as an occasional sleep mask as well, the Lovehoney Oh! Satin Blindfold is all round good value!
I also find the Lovehoney Oh! Satin Blindfold oddly soothing. As a neurospicy person, the full darkness and comfortable feel of this blindfold helps a lot with my anxiety. Especially during thunderstorms, I pop this blindfold on, pop my wireless earphones in and listen to some soothing music instead. Suddenly, I’ve fallen blissfully asleep and forgotten all about the storm!
