How It Looks
The Black Rose Faux Fur Lined Blindfold arrives in Bondage Boutique’s standard packaging: a simple cellophane bag with a tag attached around the blindfold strap, with a ball chain. It’s simple enough and does the job – nice!
Because of its floral pattern and slightly more defined shape, the Black Rose Faux Fur Lined Blindfold does feel more feminine, however, there is absolutely no reason it couldn’t be used by (or with) anyone who fancies it! The floral rose-like pattern has a slight, glittering effect to it, adding a touch of glam to your BDSM play! The stitching is exquisite too, framing the shape and pattern of this blindfold.
How It Handles
Owing to its elasticated straps, the Black Rose Faux Fur Lined Blindfold is incredibly easy to use: simply slip it on and get ready for action! There is nothing really to be added in terms of using this blindfold, it’s simple, and it works!
One little criticism with this blindfold it does not stay in place for long-haired lovelies! I’ve tried putting it above a pony, it rode up and popped off. I put it below, it slid down and hung around my neck. The solution for me was to cut a slit in the strap and blanket-stitch around it so that I can pull my pony through. That way, the blindfold tends to stay in place much better.
How It Feels
Now we come to my favourite paragraph for this blindfold, and this, to me, is where it gets a full five stars – it is so damn comfy and it is a 100% blackout! Frustratingly we have a street light right outside our bedroom window, and even with blackout curtains, some light still seeps through. I have a proper sleep mask now, but for a few days I was using the Black Rose Faux Fur Lined Blindfold as an alternative – and comfortably! I’m not saying things didn’t escalate once or twice, because you know, this is our BDSM blindfold…
Bondage Boutique Black Rose Faux Fur Lined Blindfold: The Verdict
I really hate that I had to amend this mask, because damn it, I would so give it the full five stars without that. It’s comfortable, it’s pretty and it’s affordable, but sadly and annoyingly, sometimes it’s also a little bit problematic. So, reluctantly it gets four stars, but that is very reluctantly!
