How It Looks

It has to be said, the DOMINIX Deluxe Cat Claw Skin Scratcher looks quite intimidating. Sure, so you can still see your partner’s real finger between the two rings, but those two black metal claws still look pretty terrifying! They’re long and they look sharp and “scratcher” in the name leaves quite a bit for the imagination. It’ll be a good experience, won’t it, maybe?!
The build quality of DOMINIX toys deserves a mention, and the DOMINIX Deluxe Cat Claw Skin Scratcher is no exception. The welded joints are firm, the metalwork is smooth and the powdered painted coating is quality. It’s a fun toy that’s been around for several months now, and still no signs of damage or fading.
How It Handles
Opinions are divided on this one, because whilst Matt finds it fairly easy to fit and use, I personally find my fingers a bit too slim and a bit too short to make it work! The middle ring fits a UK size P finger, whereas the base ring fits a UK size Z. For Matt, that means that it more or less just sits on his fingertip, whereas for me, with my short and stubby size N index finger, that means it’s a bit loose and I have to use my thumb to hold it in place for use – not the most tactical or sexy thing to do during some BDSM play!
Again, you can be quite firm and flexible with this claw scratcher and it’s definitely well made enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break, but we advise against any poking or stabbing motions – not that you should want to anyway! It’s easy to trace patterns and draw circles with this claw scratcher, and it traces and doodles wherever you want it to go.
How It Feels
Make no mistake, the DOMINIX Deluxe Cat Claw Skin Scratcher is intense, but that might just be the thing that we love to hate and hate to love about it. The claws sit approximately 0.6” apart, meaning that the intensity of one claw barely has enough space to dissipate before it’s met with the intensity of the other. What that creates is a band-like feeling of intense and almost painful pressure – definitely not for the faint-hearted!
The claws of the claw scratcher are also slightly rounded, so although it says it’s a scratcher, in reality, it just feels like you’re being scratched. It leaves no marks, only unforgettable memories!
On it’s own, the DOMINIX Deluxe Cat Claw Skin Scratcher is an intense sensation, but when you throw in a blindfold, that’s when things become more interesting! Do you like torturing your submissive?
