The pinwheel arrives in quite a simple box, featuring the product name and images of the product. It’s simple enough without being too little or too much. Nice!
Make no mistake, at first glances this pinwheel looks oh-so menacing. Far fr8om merely inciting sensation, the menacing row of five pinwheels on this toy looks as though it is all roo ready to mince your lover’s flesh!

How It Handles
Sure, so the DOMINIX Deluxe 5 Row Stainless Steel Wartenberg Pinwheel is wider than the Fifty Shades Darker Adrenaline Spikes Pinwheel, but it still manoeuvres well and still allows you to draw out some nice, wavy patterns on your partner. The wheels move independently as well, so the Pinwheel moves seamlessly over bumps and curves.
This pinwheel is a little bit weightier, but with that said, it’s still not too hard to handle. The added weight adds added sensation whilst not delivering too much.
Need some added grip? Again, it was easy enough to push a piece of 10mm foam tubing onto the handle of the DOMINIX Deluxe 5 Row Stainless Steel Wartenberg Pinwheel. Sure, it’s not the most attractive thing, but still least it means you can have fun!
How It Feels
Believe it or not, if you’re just starting off in the world of sensation play, I actually recommend the DOMINIX Deluxe 5 Row Stainless Steel Wartenberg Pinwheel over something like the Fifty Shades Darker Adrenaline Spikes Pinwheel. Why? Because the row of pinwheels is wider, which means to say that the sensation is distributed over a wider area. It’s still an interesting, prickly sensation, but it’s nowhere near as intense.
For those with a higher pain tolerance, this pinwheel is probably quite tame – it’s still a sensation, but it’s not an intense sensation like you might crave. There’s no reason you can’t try it anyway, just be aware that for those with masochistic tendencies, this toy is all bark and very little bite.
Again, this pinwheel is slightly heavier, so you won’t need to push down as such, although you can always add a little pressure for increased sensation if you want to. Move slowly, move fasster, try straight lines and wavy. Just remember that this is a pinwheel, not a Hot Wheels car, and if you move it over your partner’s skin like you’re trying to break the sound barrier then it’s probably going to hurt.

The DOMINIX Deluxe 5 Row Stainless Steel Wartenberg Pinwheel is well made and delivers a wonderful sensation, but for those who enjoy a little pain, this pinwheel really does look far worse than what it is. We can’t fault it, but it’s not our favourite, either. 4/5.
