Because sometimes Santa isn’t the one who delivers.
Hello lovelies and welcome to our Kinkmas countdown!
I’ve wanted to do a Lovehoney advent calendar for a while now but because of cost, it was something I often put off doing. Well, now I have the perfect excuse — my audience will enjoy a kinky countdown to Christmas, too!
From 12th-24th December, I’ll be bringing you a post and a short Youtube video every day as we open this calendar together, followed by a review of our experience (hopefully!) on the 27th!
We deliberated over all of the calendar options but ultimately settled on the 12-day “Romance” one. It’s designed to help bring romance to a relationship, but will there be romance in store for us?
Let’s explore…
Today is day:

In our Kinkmas countdown, and today we have…

Lay-on Vibrator Sleeve
How It Looks
This lay-on vibrator sleeve is curious character; I couldn’t work it out until I looked them up! Looking a bit like a rose for a watering can, I couldn’t work out the ergonomics of this toy. Lay on it how? What do you do?!
Well lovelies, today we learn together.
How It Handles
This lay on vibrator sleeve pairs with the bullet vibrator from box one: you just push it into the hole at the top. it’s a little fiddly, but if you give it a good push (and maybe a little lube), it slides in just fine (wahey!).
Apart from the slightly-fiddly power button on the bullet vibrator, this palm-sized now-lay-on-viibrator is perfectly palm sized, and fun to place wherever you want. Place it against your breasts or nipples, your thighs, buttocks or wherever else you please. Use it alone or with a partner during partnered sex, I even tried using it just inside my knickers for a hands-free orgasm. Wherever you can fit your palm, your lay-on vibrator can go!
How It Feels
Made from beautiful wine-coloured skin soft silicone, this lay-on sleeve is both silky and flexible and gently flexes to suit you. There are two sides for you to choose from: one smooth and one with ridges and a sleeve for the bullet vibrator. What goes where is all up to you.
I’ve never used a lay-on vibrator before, so I wanted to take my time to explore this toy and see what new sensations it delivered. How did it feel on my breasts? Nipples? Clitoris?
On my breasts and nipples it was absolutely delightful: those same vibrations, lightly diluted and spread further out. It was less pin-pointed, more of an all-over caress. Exquisite!
As we moved further south, though, it was disappointing.
I’m someone who needs direct, moderately firm clitoral stimulation to get me off; I simply can’t orgasm without it. This lay-on vibrator sleeve wasn’t delivering that though, it was just…. vibrating everything.
I tried, I really gave it a good try, but I was getting agonisingly frustrated by those vibrations just not being where I needed them to be. In the end I pulled the bullet vibrator from the lay-on sleeve and I finished the job off properly — I’m still in love with that thing!
The Verdict
I really hoped that this lay-on sleeve would be some new and exciting way to a whole new kind of orgasm, but all it was a surefire way to sexual frustration and a flatter bullet. No bueno. 2/5.
That’s it from me for this post. Do you have an advent calendar? What did you receive today? Leave a comment below or read more of my Kinkmas Countdown posts!
Until next time!
