I used to have the original, silver, battery-operated Humdinger vibrator from Lovehoney, which I used so often, I broke it! So when I saw this rechargeable one (and at a reasonable, affordable price!) it was just meant to be – nothing delivers orgasms like a Humdinger can!

How It Looks
I love these toys, if only because I explained the Lovehoney Humdinger rechargeable vibrator to Master as a “perverted grim reaper” – the cupped side looks like the opening of his hood and the nib looks like the peak of his hood. Not only, but he is responsible for “little deaths” 😉
Lovehoney Humdinger rechargeable vibrator has a wavy body, suggesting it may be used for internal stimulation whilst not actually being designed for that very purpose. Also to note, Lovehoney now have their logo on the charging cable, as well as on their toys themselves. Okay, but it does mean you can’t really use said charging cable for anything else!
Once again we have the illuminated power button, which I think is a super-cool feature on many of Lovehoney’s sex toys which helps you know if the toy is powered on or not. Also, the light pulses in time with patterned modes – love it!
How It Handles
Once again, I don’t find the updated Humdinger particularly easy to hold, and the power button is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes the button responds and other times it doesn’t – hardly handy once you’ve started playing your fantasy (or porn!).
This toy became very difficult for me to keep hold of once I gave it a lil dab of lube. I have grip issues in my right hand anyway, but once I’d made my new toy slick? Nightmare! I must have dropped it at least three times, making my shuffle in the sheets more one to relocate my new companion than it was one to bring me any joy.
I do want to point out that when I first turned the Lovehoney Humdinger rechargeable vibrator on, I thought it was rather loud. However, if smothered in blankets or a duvet whilst it does what you need it to do, it can’t be heard outside of the room.
How It Feels
First things first, I’m not enjoying the hard plastic as much as I love my silicone buddies – it feels almost unforgiving against my most sensitive bits.
Secondly, and for whatever reason, I found the vibrations went anywhere but where I wanted them to go! My hand felt like it was going to go numb, and I felt tike the vibrations were going everywhere but directly into my clitoris. I tried increasing the speed but that was all in vain. The faster it went, the more it hopped about instead of getting me off.
The cupped side – my former favourite – was no longer my favourite, and the nubbed side was still too painful on my clit for me. This wasn’t pleasurable, it was agonising – agonisingly frustrating.
I’d love to say that Lovehoney Humdinger 10 function rechargeable clitoral vibrator gave me even some even slightly tantalising pleasure, but it just… didn’t. Not even a pot-luck clit throb. Nothing.
Let’s also talk about the speeds and patterns, because in a last-ditch hope for having not just wasted £25 on an attempted orgasm, I wanted to see if something could redeem this toy. Unfortunately, nada. No speeds, no patterns. Nothing was going to get me off with this toy.

I’d love to say that the Lovehoney Humdinger 10 function rechargeable clitoral vibrator was as reliable as its former, battery-operated counterpart, but it just wasn’t. From unsexy surfaces to misdirected vibrations, this clitoral vibrator was a big nothing for me, and will be going back in due course under Lovehoney’s 100 Day Pleasure Guarantee. 4/10.
