Priced at £32.99, the Lovehoney Ignite finger vibrator is a bit of a mid-range sex toy. There are cheaper sex toys out there, and then there are those that make this finger vibrator look cheap! 

How It Looks

The first thing that I loved about this vibrator is the packaging. It’s not too gaudy — it’s a sky blue box with a white trim, holographic foiled details and white text. The front of the box features an opening panel which tells you a little about Lovehoney and on the other side, a cellophane window showing the product that you’ve bought. I really like this packaging much more than Lovehoney’s pink and white boxes – it’s so stylish!

As well as the finger vibrator, you also receive an instruction leaflet, a small black drawstring storage bag and a USB recharging cable. The storage bag has a small tag with the Lovehoney logo on it but no indication as to what is contained inside.

The Lovehoney Ignite finger vibrator itself is a bright pink vibrator with smooth curves and an interesting and precise tip. There is a power logo on the wider end of the vibrator and a DC charging port on the top. When the finger vibrator is powered on, the wider tip glows and pulses white, in time with the pattern you have selected. 

How It Handles

Admittedly, I did encounter some issues here. It seems that for most people, the Lovehoney Ignite 20 Function finger vibrator would be a doddle to handle, but for those of us with dexterity issues, it becomes a little bit more of a challenge. This finger vibrator requires you to slip it onto your pointer finger, then use your thumb to operate the power and patterns. It’s manageable, but would I say that it’s easy? Unfortunately, not in my case. Also, with a lil lube in the mix then things become even slipperier and trickier, though again, that might just be me.

For his part, Master had no issues at all using the Lovehoney Ignite 20 Function Finger Vibrator on me, and very much enjoyed doing so!

The Lovehoney Ignite finger vibrator has a run time of 100 minutes, which is more than generous. The finger vibrator has a travel lock too, so you can take your new friend on vacation without worrying about attracting any unwanted attention!

How It Feels

Covered in smooth silicone, the Lovehoney Ignite 20 Function Finger Vibrator feels soft and gentle against your flesh, unlike some plastic or metal toys. It warms quickly to your temperature too, so there are no cold surprises for your hottest parts.

In my own mind, there are two types of vibrators on the market: powerful, “will blow your mind” vibrators, and whiny, ineffective, “bee in your pants” style (typically bullet) vibrators. I anticipated that the finger vibrator would be more of the latter, but I can safely (and rather satisfyingly!) say that I was wrong. For the small size of this vibrator, it packs a lot of power!

I found the precise tip even quite painful at first, but moving it down slightly and allowing the curves of the toy to nestle into me had my hips bucking in no time. The different speeds are my favourite part, with the second one being the one that rocked my world. The patterns didn’t do anything other than frustrate me, but then, they might work for other people. 

Sharing the Lovehoney Ignite 20 Function Finger Vibrator with Master was a whole new experience, and was an intensely intimate activity that we both enjoyed. Master loved that he could still feel me under his other fingers and he could feel how I was responding to his ministrations. While other vibrators like wand vibrators are equally effective, the Lovehoney Ignite finger vibrator delivers a close intimacy that made it truly special for us, and definitely did Ignite something between us soon after!

For Master Levi, both the curves and the precision tip of the vibrator are enjoyable, and added to some solo and partnered play. Master really enjoyed the precision tip applied up and down the underside of his shaft, which I used to edge him as he so enjoys.
