Today I am going to be reviewing the Fifty Shades Of Grey "Hearts & Flowers" clitoral suction stimulator, available from Lovehoney.

This clitoral stimulator is completely waterproof and comes with a magnetic charger - the first time I've ever owned a toy that charges this way! I'm not too sure about this type of charger as it feels a bit flimsy, but it seems to be okay and doesn't come off very easily. It also comes with a safety manual and a quick start guide to help you get the best out of your purchase. Now onto the good part!

How It Looks

What's not to love about this gorgeous toy? It's so asthetically pleasing that you could probably leave it on the bedside and nobody would bat an eye! It's classy black and gold design adds a touch of luxury that most of us would be honoured to possess. When it's powered on the LEDs glow a bright white light too, making them easy to find.

I also love how the LEDs pulse in time with the patterned settings, so you know exactly what's being delivered and when.

One minor pitfall already - the silicone material picks up bits of fluff and debris really easily, yeuck!

How It Handles

I was really worried about how this toy would be to hold for someone with dexterity issues, but it's actually surprisingly easy. It fits nicely into the palm of the hand and I didn't get any immediate cramp or awkwardness, which I was really worried about. It is a little bit awkward to hold when you're doing your thing though, so do be aware of that. There is no handle or anything to hold, meaning a bit of a stretch.

The toy doesn't create much noise, making it great for discreet play or folks with flatmates. Even with the TV off in the next room my husband said he couldn't hear it.

How It Feels

Pre-gasm: The soft velvety silicone of this toy gives it a real ooh la la factor, and when pressed with a finger, the petals yield easily and promise more sensual delights. I'm almost excited for how they will feel later, like a special kiss from a secret lover, perhaps?

I have to be honest here and say that my experiences with clitoral stimulators thus far are so-so at best. I have a Womanizer Starlet 3 as well and, though they do okay, in my eyes, really nothing does better than a wand!

Post-gasm: Did this clitoral stimulator make me vocal? Yes, it did. Did it make me scream? No, it did not. "Christian Grey, you're a disappointment!" were the words out of my mouth, which I think about sums up the verdict. I was vocal, yes, but I'm still undecided as to whether that was down to the toy itself or the fact that I knew my husband was listening from the other side of the door. The rose petals don't add anything at all, and not much feels sexy about holding a wad of vibrating silicone against your bits. Operation is difficult too, and I broke the all-important seal a few times whilst trying to toggle between the different modes. It is almost silent under the covers however, making playtime anytime quite possible.

Clean-up is easy - the centre part of the rose pops right out so you can clean underneath. The whole toy is a sealed waterproof unit too, so you can clean it witb a designated sex toy cleaner or give it a bath in some warm, soapy water. Just be sure to leave it to air dry afterwards!

Final Thoughts

A very pretty design, but I think that's about where it ends. The vibation is quite strong but it is supposed to be a clitoral suction stimulator, not merely a vibrator. I've decided to keep it should I ever fancy it again/have more success with it/want to incorporate it into my playtime antics, but could it find itself soon replaced by something satisfyingly superior? I wouldn't rule it out. 3/5 stars.
