Is spanking or corporal punishment a part of your submission? Why or why not?
Is spanking or corporal punishment part of my submission? Absolutely. Would we regard it as punishment? Absolutely not.
I mentioned in my previous 30 Days Of Submission post that Matt and I are flatly against punishment. For us, our dynamic is all about cooperation and teamwork ("teamwork makes the dream work" is an often recited mantra in our home) and so punishment is often not regarded as necessary. I have my rules and I do my utmost not to break them. When they are broken, there is usually a good reason why, anyway. When that happens, there are no punishments, just talking. Part of my submission to my Sir is transparent communication, always. To him, punishment would make me fearful, and fear will only impede his objective.
With that being said, Mr Wolfie and I are a loved up sadomasochistic pairing who take delight at shooting one another at moderately close range with Nerf guns and firing elastic bands at one another. We bite one another (sometimes quite hard), we tickle one another, we spank one another as we walk past, it's all just a part of what we do. If you don't bend at the knee in this house, that's just an ass begging to be spanked, hard - unless you're vanilla or, of course, you're family.
In our scenes, Mr Wolfie and I thoroughly enjoy impact play. Mr Wolfie has a deft hand when it comes to floggers and I for one thoroughly appreciate his efforts. Massage is good for stress relief, admittedly, but a good, sensual, rhythmic flogging is ooh so much better.
